I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Don Schultz on his well-deserved retirement after 19 years of dedicated service as the Director of Training and Organizing at the Millwright Regional Council. His outstanding 43 years of service as a member of Local 2309 has been an inspiration to many of us.

Throughout his tenure, he has been a strong advocate for member safety, always attending to any opportunity to voice his concerns and correct issues that could put our members at risk. His passion for skills training has also been remarkable, overseeing hundreds of apprentices attending George Brown and graduating successfully. He’s always gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and success of our members, and his unwavering commitment to our people has endeared him to many of us over the years.

His teachings of putting members first and being supportive of them in their moments of need will live on for generations to come. He has been a standout example of what it means to be a Union Brother/Sister. Thank you for your immense contributions, and we wish you all the best in your retirement.
